I am amazed that this is #1 in the competition. The story was interesting and the artwork nice but the lack of colour was bad, BAD, B A D!Rocky Horrornoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-901068894493321756.post-20794391252491501472009-10-17T16:41:01.812-05:002009-10-17T16:41:01.812-05:00Absolute bollocks! It looks exactly like a colouring book - just cuz he made a few scratchy lines here and there - that was never a choice or least not a sensible choice. Whether a comic has actual colour or not the black and white that is left has a 'colour' all it's own and here it is wrong! Just plain wrong. The balance is wrong. There are diagonals that are awkward - created by that very lack of colour - the white psaces are overpowering. Sorry, but this isn't a matter of my opinion - it's just a fact.

And before you get the wrong idea. The story is terrific and the art is very good. I enjoyed all aspects of it but there's no point trying to tell me up is down - there's no sensible argument in that.

:-)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-901068894493321756.post-21151765998099694282009-10-17T10:15:25.954-05:002009-10-17T10:15:25.954-05:00nice write up :)nice write up :)Matt Whitehttp://www.gulchcomic.comnoreply@blogger.com
